MY JOURNEY TO LOVEFEST AND BEYOND - Part 1

It began for me during a time of suffering. I was a software developer at 23 and discovered I had Crohn's Disease, The specialist said it so casually but to me it was mind numbing. I was told I would have it for the rest of my life with many symptoms and need for medications.

The result was 10 years of struggle with my health. I thought I had tried everything to help myself including diet change and exercise and 4 different meds. Then when it had reached its worst I was told I was high risk of cancer and that I needed surgery to remove part of my bowel and carry a colostomy bag to go the bathroom in. It didn't mean a cure, there is no cure I was told. It would just make me feel better for about a year or so. I still remember the gleaming look on that specialists face. I drove home that day and screamed

"AAAARRGGHHH". "F#@% that"

I couldn't sleep that night just like many other nights. I started wondering "What if they are wrong" "What if I can cure myself". I was always a bit of a rebel as a kid. So I visualised perfect health, imagined jumping around like a kid, being able to play with my daughter feeling free and alive. I introduced daily gratitude even for a blade of grass, and the health that I did have saying "Thank you". I practiced mind over matter. Worked on myself Physically, Spiritually, Mentally and especially emotionally and then became completely symptom free within 18 months. 13 years later and I'm still symptom free without any meds or special diet and my tests have come up clear.

In March 2009, I had discovered a new way of being, a new life and a new world. I got to jump around like a kid and play with my daughter feeling energised, alive and free for the first time.

This was the beginning of my INNER JOURNEY.
