Travel FAQ
Tamborine Mountain
Nestled in the heart of the Gold Coast hinterland, Tamborine Mountain is a breathtaking oasis of lush rainforests, cascading waterfalls, and panoramic views that promise to captivate your heart and soul.
Tamborine Mountain is known as "Jambreen" in the local Indigenous language of the Yugambeh people. The name reflects the deep cultural significance and connection the traditional custodians have with the land, encompassing its natural beauty and spiritual importance. This country also includes the peoples of the Migunburri, Kombumerri, Bullongin, Mununjali, Gugingin and Binna Burra Tribes.
