Immerse yourself with a group of like minded souls as we explore the theme of staying calm and and how we can bring more calmness in each moment of our lives.
Soul Space Circle is space to connect and share from an open heart with like minded souls. A space to let go of all the stories and any dramas of the day and unwind for a couple of hours or so with presence not pretence. It's a space to open your mind to a new perspective and connect with your soul and the souls of other like-minded beings as we tune into our authenticiy and intuition.
Theme: Staying Calm
The evening is divided into 3 main parts:
1. Sharing of inspirational self love cards
2. Meditation (in 2 parts: body scan followed by guided meditation intuitively based on the theme)
3. Pairing/connection exercises - asking and responding to questions based on the theme, usually using the benefit of hindsight, and gaining insights through your reflections in others
In this session we will be exploring the theme and possibility of reaching a state of calm and staying calm in each moment. There’s a lot of talk and focus on dealing with common anxiety/anxiousness or negative emotions such as anger but not so much about simply staying calm. Our focus creates our reality and what we resist persists. So if we’d prefer to stay calm in challenging situations it’s worth considering what would it be like to stay calm rather than being in fight or flight mode of a level of consciousness we’d prefer to not be in. When faced with a personal crisis, do you react with negative emotions such as anger and how long do you stay angry before you can let it go? Or do you respond with acceptance of what is and look to remedy what you can? In what situations do you find yourself struggling to stay calm? Does meditation help you to stay calm or is it only while meditating? If something negative happens and you’re with others do you take responsibility for your part or do you blame others? Do you wonder how some people can stay calm more easily than others whether they meditate or not? Could simply changing your outlook and mindset lead to staying calm before, during and after the storm?
These are the types of questions we will be exploring in the circle. There are no right or wrong answers, only what feels true for you in each moment.
