About Shunya
Based in the Northern Rivers, for many years he provided the sound at Mullumbimby’s legendary House of Bliss chanting soirees, before feeling the call to pick up a guitar, throw caution to the wind and take to the stage.
In the grand rainbow arc that is devotional music Shunya finds himself more towards the pop end of things .. simple mantras and affirmation songs in sanskrit and English.
In March he takes his new CD ‘Prana Spark’ on the road, with concerts from Brisbane to Sydney and many points in between.
He loves to create containers for people to be in heartspace and sing up the deities .. Ganesha, Shiva, Lakshmi, Narayani and more.
Saturday 1st of April marks his third visit to Yogatime in Bondi and on stage he’ll once again be backed by the wonderful effervescence of Florence Gueit on cajon, Janeth Munoz on shakers and vocals, with special guest Cami, maestro of the flute.
